This shorter class focuses exclusively on proper engagement of the four main muscle groups that we call our core. The core muscles support our spine and house our vital organs. A strong core means less back pain, improved digestion, posture and pelvic alignment, supported nervous system and better overall mobility. This class is gentle and accessible as we start with focused awareness of one muscle group at a time and learn how to properly engage with them. Leave feeling strong and supported with new healthy habits to practice throughout the day. This is a small section of my Yoga Therapy series for back care.
Accessible to all bodies. All levels.
Pre-registration is recommended. Drop-ins are welcome but space is not guaranteed.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class start time to guarantee enough time to read and sign waivers and get acquainted with the studio.
