Self Love vs Self Care

self love self care

Namaste,

How do you practice self care? Why? Many folks only practice self care when they are already burnt out to bring themselves back to a baseline of survival. Does this pattern sound familiar? This July I want to move past Self Care to meet a baseline and begin practicing self care as a means to invoke self LOVE. Do nice things for yourself in order to create LOVE for your Body, Mind and Spirit! This doesn't have to happen all at once (and it won't) but imagine if you practiced self care as a way to celebrate and love yourself instead of in response to feeling burnt out.

If you ever feel at odds with your body or mind or spirituality, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! This is your opportunity to begin repairing those bonds and build a healthier relationship with yourself. Move from tolerance to acceptance and even LOVE for the amazing human that you are!!!!

We are now offering weekend retreats to teach you how to be kind, patient and gentle with yourself. Each of these retreats will be packed with Yoga practices, meditation, yoga and wellness workshops, Svadyaya (self-study and reflection) and silent meditations to journal and acknowledge what you feel.

In between these practices we have built in a luxuriously long midday break where you can Nourish yourself out in Nature or take a nap if you so choose. We have many gorgeous places within 15 minutes of the studio for you to enjoy what the earth has to offer, from gentle mountain top hikes to exploring local lakes and waterfalls, we can offer guidance on how to access any of these. If you do plan to head off on an adventure we can organize a bagged lunch for you from our lovely neighbours at Ohana Deli or pre order your lunch at one of our awesome local food and beverage outlets. You can rent a bike, a paddle board or ride the chairlift up to the top of the mountain, those perfect sunny hours of the day are all for you.

Our entire goal is to help you fill your cup with love for every part of yourself!

Our first retreat is July 15-17th and we will have Workshops on Ayurveda as well as a workshop to help you Find your Bliss.

Be well,

Kayla
